The property was amazing! The drive up was slightly terrifying in the last ten minutes but we were equipped with an all wheel drive vehicle (as suggested on the cabins page, thank you!!!) so we made it up and down just fine. The deck was amazing, even though it was pretty cold, we ha a wonderful time sitting on the deck or in the hot tub watching the sunrise/sunset. All of the rooms were incredibly cozy and well kept and the bathrooms were spacious and efficient. An absolutely beautiful property and we will definitely be staying there again!

Registration was easy and maintenance reply to faulty fire place was prompt and successful.

Very much enjoyed. We will be back with more guests!

The bear kottage is perfect for young couple to stay over the weekends. The property is very well maintained, it provides everything you need for a short stay. If you want a electronic free weekend, then this is the perfect place to be. The check in and check out procedure is very convenient. Overall it is a great stay, will come back for summer vacation next time.

It was so quiet and serene here, and I haven't seen a genuine smile on his face in so long. The beauty and comfort of this place showed us all his smile again! We had a very relaxing and refreshing time.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found our (very) spacious cabin. We could have fit the extended family in there. The location was BEAUTIFUL! Beautiful little creek running behind the cabin, we could hear it all night. Gas powered fire place was simple to use and provided a lot of heat. We enjoyed the fire pit outside while in the hot tub. We would love to come back again!!

Very nice cabin. Spacious and clean, private, enjoyed the peace and quiet of the wooded setting. Looking forward to possibly returning in the summer for a weekend.

The property was very nice and clean,the stream in back was very relaxing along with the hot tub.The hot tub was very hot in the cold nights my husband used it. Everything was just right.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. And the scenery can't be beat. That's the American dream right there. Totally worth an 11 hour drive from chicago. We will be back!
