The staff was friendly and accommodating. Also, they suggested great local places to eat and shop really completing our experience for the weekend.

The property was perfect. It was easy to find, extremely conveniently located, graciously appointed and the views and amenities couldn't have been better. I won't use any other rental company in the area.

Simply amazing. Moonshine is in the perfect location. Close to town, and yet secluded. I loved that we could make it to town in less than 5 minutes and was a huge selling point for us. The view is breathtaking. Everything is so well taken care of and so perfectly designed. I could not have asked for a better vacation. It was very pleasant

We loved it because we were with family and we just wanted to relax the whole weekend. As I said earlier, the view was breathtaking and the cabin was darling but it was very remote.

We will return again. Very nice place that is easy to get to but very quiet. Has that farm feel with the roosters crowing and the cows mooing.

I called and talked to Alice about the phone not being able to make any calls. She gave me her cell phone number in case we needed it . She and Myra both were very friendly.

We were at Little Pond celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We along with our two kids. The house was beautiful inside and out. The road a little scary but worth it!! We had a wonderful time. We will hopefully return to Alarka Highlands again very soon. A Christmas visit would be Awesome. Our kids age 22&19 loved it there.

All the girls we talked to prior to arrival were super friendly and able to answer every question.

The cabin was even better than expected. This 2 day trip was a fun surprise getaway for my boyfriend's birthday. He absolutely loved the cabin so much we looked into buying one! It was comfortable, affordable, and had the BEST amenities of any cabin we have ever been to or looked at. The property, overall, was super clean, well-maintained, and easy to find. The reservation was very easy to make and every aspect of communication was just as we were told. I emailed to ask for directions earlier than we were to receive them because we were leaving home earlier than the seven days promised and within 24 hours I had a response with explicit directions. Everything was found as promised.

It was everything we hoped it would be. We were with a group of relatives staying in 4 different cabins, and we were all totally satisfied with our stay in these cabins.

Creekside cabin is rustic. It's well-equipped, and more than adequate for what my family needed. It's not fancy, but it served our needs well. Besides, with so much to do in the mountains, you won't be in the cabin that much. If you're looking for modern, sleek, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances, this isn't your place. If you want relaxing sounds of Alarka Creek right outside each window, quiet neighbors, and easy, paved access this is your cabin! Have fun & enjoy!

This was our second trip to Baby Bear Cabin- it was wonderful, just what we wanted and needed for a weekend mountain getaway for an older couple like us; loved the quaintness of the cabin, and loved building a fire and enjoying the quietness and solitude; we will be back!

From the moment we pulled up to the property we were pleased. The cabin is adorable and the view breath taking. The hot tub was the added feature that helped us choose this cabin. The cabin was sparkling clean inside and everything that we needed was provided.

Everyone was very helpful and fast.

My stay in Alarka creek #1 was beautiful! Amazing views and a wonderful property, the kitchen was just enough and the living room was comfy! Our bedroom was nice and the bed was soft, I did notice however there was a lot of dust around the frame of the bed. I loved the back porch, its very relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs and listen to Alarka creek run by. The hot tub is extremely perfect for the chilly weather but upon arrival it was cold and took 24 hours to heat up. BCCR: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I will get with our cleaning staff ASAP and make sure they take care of the dust immediately and thank you for letting us know. I hope you stay with us again soon.

Very helpful, made everything so easy for us.

It was one of the best vacation's we have had in years. The cabin had everything we needed, it was like being at home. We took our two Pugs with us and they loved playing in the front yard. We just enjoyed sitting outside watching them and looking at the beautiful view. We are looking forward to bringing our family sometime soon. Great place for a family get together.
