Prior to renting the property, I had e-mailed the company. Alice promptly answered my messages and offered some helpful suggestions. I found her to be professional, friendly, and well-acquainted with the property, as well as the surrounding area.

We would not hesitate to stay at Moonshine Mountain again. We loved the property and its location, not to mention the views from the back porch! As I told Alice when we left, please tell the owners they own a lovely home. We appreciated having access to it and hope to do so again in the future!

We felt like we were at home away from home. The view from the porch is amazing, which we enjoyed every evening while grilling and relaxing. The dogs had plenty of room to enjoy the yard and potty (which is not always the case at other cabins).

Restful Refuge is a perfect location to downtown Bryson City and within walking distance. The sound of the creek just off the deck was very relaxing. The bed were very comfortable as was the seating in the living room. The kitchen was well equipped and met every need we had.

It was everything we had hoped for. Plenty of space, clean, tons of nice touches (hot tub, books, movies, game room, appreciated items in the kitchen like salt and pepper and oil, fire pit, beautiful views)

If they didnt answer, the team promptly called us back. Everyone was courteous. Thank you for responding to our call when we were lost!! Your verbal directions were very helpful and we appreciated it so much at that time!

This was so special for my husband, 4 children and their families! It fit all 12 of us! We brought cots for the 4 and 5 year olds, and the rest of us had beds to sleep in. My favorite was eating dinner all together on the deck with the amazing view and playing games. My only negative was be sure and fix the grill for the next occupants.

We had a wonderful vacation. The cabin was a perfect place to celebrate our 21st anniversary. We want to return next fall.

All communication was done online, but service was very prompt. All questions were answered quickly and the information provided before arriving was very helpful. Directions were spot on and to be prepared for no cell service.

The cabin and property was beautiful and very relaxing...The constant sound of the stream was amazing.
