Just outside the small mountain town of Bryson City, NC, Firefly Hill is a spacious four-bedroom home with two living areas, each with a TV and comfortable seating – plenty of room for your group of up to eight friends and family to spread out. Take your pick from two covered decks overlooking the sloping front lawn with a pretty view of Deep Creek Valley. Soak in the hot tub, roast marshmallows and tell ghost stories at the fire pit. Wander just down the road to the Deep Creek entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to three sparkling waterfalls, fish for trout or take a splashy inner tube ride down the creek.
Firefly Hill Cabin is just minutes from Bryson City where you will find art and craft galleries, and a surprising variety of restaurants. It is centrally located to enjoy attractions in Cherokee NC and also outdoor rafting and kayaking in the Nantahala Gorge.

Our family of 9 loved this property! (Ages ranging from 2 to 55). As I stated before, it was nothing real fancy and that was exactly what we needed with little ones. It was large and the 2 floors allowed everyone to have some space when needed. They really loved the hot tub! The location is perfect - being very close to Deep Creek and downtown Bryson City.

All of the reservation process was handled via email and that speaks volumes to how clear and concise the reservation process is.

The property is spacious and plenty of room for kids to play and gather with family. The house was clean (a little dusty) and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and anything you need for cooking. Basic toiletry and laundry items were provided to get you started. There is a fire pit which we used and enjoyed. The satellite service was excellent. The wi-fi was a bit slow but you are in the mountains and that was explained up front at the time of reservation! All in all this was a great home for our stay and i would stay in it again and recommend to friends/family!
