This affordable rustic log cabin is just minutes to downtown Bryson City where you will find many unique shopping opportunities; including boutique shops, local art galleries, handmade and custom mountain crafts, and mountain gift shops. There is also many options for dining. It is also the perfect location for taking a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, riding the picturesque roads of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, rafting and kayaking on the Nantahala River, tubing and hiking at Deep Creek, biking at Tsali, zipling in the Nantahala River Gorge, boating or fishing on Lake Fontana, or simply relaxing on the front porch of your cabin.

Take a look at Smoky Mountain Cabin (sleeps 6), Papa Bear Cabin (Brand new, sleeps 4), and Lazy Bear (sleeps 2). Along with Baby Bear Cabin these cabins accommodate a total of 12 guests. We had such a wonderful time in Baby Bear cabin. The cabin was beautiful and the location is spectacular. Everything inside the cabin was in great shape and we cooked several meals during our stay. After 3.5 wonderful days we hated to leave and are committed to going back again next year. Amazing experience!

We wanted to get away from every day life and have a bit of seclusion in the mountains. I chose the baby bear cabin and was not disappointed! It was only about 10 minutes from town but when youre at the cabin it feels like youre far away from everything. It was wonderful to enjoy the peace and quiet! We will definitely book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Baby Bear Cabin! It was wonderful to watch the stars come out at night as we sat at the picnic table; and in the morning we enjoyed a few cups of coffee as we watched the sun rise through the trees. It was everything we had hoped for (and much needed)!

It was very pleasant, we enjoyed staying outside and bonding with mother nature, and also inside where you felt that you went back in time in history and got to live it with a little modern touch. Overall it felt like you were over at grandma's house for the holidays, and that's a very lovable feeling.
