Sleeping Dog is a charming two-bedroom, one bath home, with a pull-out sofa that can sleep up to four guests. This home is located about a 10-minute drive from downtown Bryson City. You can enjoy your morning coffee from our fully stocked coffee bar on the front covered porch nestled in the treetops. It is perfect for a peaceful, private vacation. You are close enough to enjoy all there is to do in the Smokies, and yet far away from it all so that you can relax. This cozy cabin has a wood burning fireplace in the living space, a cute country kitchen, and a charming bath. The kitchen has everything you need to make home-cooked meals, right in the comfort of your cabin. Sleeping Dog Cabin offers two bedrooms, one of which is equipped with a queen-sized bed, the other bedroom features two twin beds, with one bathroom, that provides you with all the amenities to make you comfortable during your stay. The outdoor patio is fenced in for pets and offers a fire pit, and picnic table for gatherings, as well as a charcoal grill for cookouts. The inside is equipped with Wi-Fi, a game station, an extensive DVD collection and player, as well as a record player for rainy nights in. It's the perfect spot for peace and relaxation. 

Sleeping Dog Cabin is located just minutes from charming Bryson City, where you can take a ride through the mountains on The Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, cool off with a tube down river or hike by the waterfalls of Deep Creek, or just stroll through quaint boutique shops in town, or grab lunch at Everett Street Diner. In just under a mile, you can enjoy Lake Fontana. This area is perfect for fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding. If you're looking for a little more heart pumping adventure, take a 20-minute drive over to Nantahala River Gorge where you can enjoy whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip line tours, or horseback riding. If you'd like to explore the area's cultural history, make sure to take a ride over to the Cherokee Indian Reservation, where you can enjoy museums, the Oconoluftee Village, and the Oconoluftee Visitor's Center.
