Among the Clouds - what a suitable name for a beautiful home with such stunning views.  This lovely home sits nestled on a hill top, overlooking the Smoky Mountains in Almond, NC which is just outside of Bryson City and Robbinsville. 

Among the Clouds is just the large vacation retreat that you and your family have been searching for.  This four bedroom, 3.5 bath home has plenty of room for your family or group.  With its secluded and private location, nice large porch, patio, hot tub, and grounds all situated to perfectly enjoy the views, you can enjoy the mountains and never have to leave the cabin!  When you take your first steps inside, the first feature your'll notice is the abundance of windows.  The entire back of the home has windows from end to end to capture the mountain views and natural light.  You can enjoy it from anywhere in the home.  The large open floor plan of the main level allows for easy living on your vacation.  The living room features comfortable furnishings and gas log fireplace, the perfect spot to curl up and enjoy a book or a nap after a day of exploring the mountains.  The open kitchen is fully stocked, features stainless steel appliances, double oven, and eat in bar.  For additional dining, there is a lovely dining room off to the side of the kitchen.  If you'd like to enjoy a meal outdoors, just fire up the gas grill and enjoy the meal right on the expansive deck while enjoying a beautiful sunset.  The large master suite is located on the main floor and boasts a king sized bed, flat screen TV with satellite service, and private ensuite bath with glass walk-in shower and separate double sink vanities.  Downstairs you will find another entire living space.  This space features another nice sized living room area with gas log fireplace, flat screen tv with satellite, comfortable furnishings, and card table for entertainment.   There is also a wet bar area with sink, mini fridge, and microwave.  Downstairs you will find three additional bedrooms.  The first is another, smaller master bedroom with king sized bed and private bath with tub/shower combo.  The additional bedrooms feature a queen sized bed in one and a twin bunk bed in the other.  For guest's convenience, there is an additional full bath with tub/shower combo and huge laundry room area.  If you step out on the lower level patio, you will again get to enjoy beautiful mountain views with plenty of places to sit back and relax, hot tub, a nice stacked stone fire pit area, and lovely porch swing.  With its large size and nice layout, it truly is the ideal spot for your family or group vacation.

Among the Clouds is located in the Almond community, just outside of Bryson City and Robbinsville.  This home has easy, paved access, and is convenient to the Nantahala River Gorge, where you will find world class whitewater rafting, kayaking, and ziplining.  Tsali Biking Trails for the outdoor enthusiast, and Fontana Lake which is a great spot for lake kayaking and SUP boarding.  There are also plenty of areas around for hiking and fishing.  In about a 20 minute drive you can be in downtown Bryson City, home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, the Deep Creek Community entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and plenty of boutique shops, delicious restaurants, and local craft breweries.
