The Barn Bungalow

The Barn Bungalow is a unique two bedroom, two bath log cabin located just a short drive from Bryson City.  Originally a barn located on gorgeous pastureland, this home has been truly transformed, inside and out.  The outdoor areas of the property is absolutely lovely.  There are two levels of decking, both of which over look the babbling stream that flows the border of the property.  With the quiet neighborhood, sounds of the creek, and the crisp mountain air - you're sure to enjoy your stay, even if you never left the porch.  The lower yard of the property is large and flat, giving plenty of room for kids to run or to enjoy a nice outdoor meal at the picnic table, family time at the fire pit, or simply dipping your toes in the stream.  Inside the cabin is completely immaculate.  Upon entering the home, you will walk into the open floor living area.  The large living room has comfortable furnishings, flat screen television with satellite service, fully stocked kitchen, and eat in dining.  It's the perfect spot for everyone to gather after a fun day of exploring the Smokies.  The master is located on the main floor, featuring queen sized bed and flat screen with satellite service. The bath features a tub/shower combo and is where the stackable washer/dryer is located.  Downstairs has a large media area with additional seating and nice theater area with huge projector screen.  This is the perfect spot to enjoy the movie you've been waiting to see.  There is also an additional private bedroom on this floor that is equipped with a queen sized bed and flatscreen with satellite service, and an additional bath with tub/shower combo.

The Barn Bungalow is located within minutes to the Nantahala River Gorge, where you will find an abundance of outdoor adventures such as; white water rafting, kayaking, zipline canopy tours, hiking, and Tsali biking trails.  It is also located within minutes to Bryson City, where you can indulge in the town's boutique shops, various dining options, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.  If you're wanting to visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation or the Great Smoky Mountain Parkway, it is only a 15 minute drive. The cabin's easy flat access make it the perfect base for all your vacation outings. 

Two bedroom, two bath - sleeps 6.  Easy paved access to cabin.  Living areas on main level of home, fully stocked kitchen, flat screen television with satellite service, master with queen sized bed on main level.  Basement with theater projector and seating, futon, additional queen sized bedroom, and full bath.  Both bedrooms have flat screen televisions with satellite service.  Nice flat yard off lower level, sits creek side, fire pit, hot tub, and picnic table. 

This home is motorcycle friendly, but does not have space at the home for a trailer.  We welcome motorcycles and for those with trailers, you are welcome to park those at our office location if desired.  For groups, The Barn Bungalow neighbors Lillies Cabin that is also on our program and they are within walking distance to one another.
