Perfectly located within a mile to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and within a three minute drive to downtown Bryson City - The Cedar Post is the ideal spot for your family reunion, group vacation, or large family vacation. This large three bedroom, three bath home , sleeps up to eight guests, has easy flat access, and ample parking. One of the biggest drawing features other than it's location is the massive open living space. The area boasts a large, brand new kitchen area which has hickory cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and an abundance of granite counter tops - so there's plenty of space to prepare a meal right in the comfort of your cabin. There is an eat in bar and large dining table for you and your guests to sit and enjoy each other's company while enjoying your delicious meals. Also open to the kitchen and dining area is a large space with pool table, rocked fireplace, and living area with comfortable furnishings and flat screen television with satellite service. Located off the dining room is one private bedroom that features a queen sized bed. The remaining bedrooms are located down the hall from the living room. All bedrooms features a queen sized bed except the master which features a King Bed. There are three full baths also located on the hall, each with standup shower. Outdoors there is a picnic area with charcoal grills and picnic table, large covered front porch with porch rockers, and a private fenced area for the hot tub.
The Cedar Post is conveniently located within three minutes to downtown Bryson City where you can enjoy a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, enjoy several delicious restaurants, or browse the local boutique shops. Within one mile you can enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain National Park at Deep Creek, where you will find hiking trails, water falls, fishing, whitewater tubing, swimming, picnic areas, and horse back riding. Just a fifteen minute drive away you can visit the Cherokee Reservation, where you can learn the rich history of the Cherokee Tribe or enjoy a little nightlife at Harrah's Cherokee Casino. Also located within a fifteen minute drive is the Nantahala River Gorge where you will find world renowned whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip lining, and horseback riding.
