This affordable rustic log cabin is just minutes to downtown Bryson City where you will find many unique shopping opportunities; including boutique shops, local art galleries, handmade and custom mountain crafts, and mountain gift shops. It is also the perfect location for taking a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, riding the picturesque roads of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, rafting and kayaking on the Nantahala River, tubing and hiking at Deep Creek, biking at Tsali, zipling in the Nantahala River Gorge, boating or fishing on Lake Fontana, or simply relaxing on the front porch of your cabin.

I only talked to someone once. At first, we booked from Friday - Sunday. We decided to come a day early so I called and was able to get the cabin an extra night.

We loved the farm like neighborhood Baby Bear is located in. There were cows, chickens and donkeys. We loved waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing. We made a fire every evening and cooked on the grill. We enjoyed our time spent at Baby Bear.

We had a wonderful time. Had a great fire at night in the small fire pit outside. Moon was out and the quietness of the outdoors made it special. Another night, using small pieces of wood, we had a fire in the stone fireplace inside, sipping wine as we watched the glowing embers. The mountain views in the area are magnificent.

The booking of the cabin online was really easy. The directions that were provided to the cabin was very easy to follow.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the mountains at this cabin. Everything that we needed was provided as expected. I really enjoyed seeing the farm animals and the donkey's seem to enjoy coming by the cabin each morning to pay a visit.
